A fully refurbished traditional bijou croft house built in circa 1900 by local craftsman in village stone. The Croft House has stunning panoramic sea views across the Sound of Sleat to the Knoydart peninsula. The entrance porch provides plenty of hanging space for coats and shoes and gives access to the hall with the kitchen to the left and living room to the right.
The fully equipped Ashley Ann kitchen comprises an induction hob and double electric oven and dining table and flat screen TV with Freeview. The welcoming, snug sitting room has a wood-burning stove and flat screen Smart TV with Freesat and also a DVD player. The ground floor has underfloor heating throughout and Fired Earth limestone flags.
Upstairs, we have created one luxury bedroom with ensuite shower room, separate full size dressing room with lots of storage, full length mirror and dressing table. There is also a designer bathroom with double ended bath and views over the garden and the Sound of Sleat.
We have a selection of DVD’s, board games, maps, walking books and information about visitor attractions around the Isle of Skye which you are free to enjoy during your stay.
Driving to Skye with an Electric Vehicle?
We have now installed an EV ‘wallbox charger’ with ‘Type 2’ connector for guests use. We hope that this will be a helpful addition for guests staying with us and also encourage more environmentally friendly transport on, and to and from The Isle of Skye.
